Christian Women’s Book Club: 2024 Reading Challenge

Welcome to our online Christian women’s book club! We are kickstarting a new community of like-minded women passionate about faith, growth, and literature. Join us as we explore enriching books that inspire and deepen our spiritual journeys.

As a reminder, we do not add or take away from the Bible in this book club. We explore engaging reads with themes spanning from spiritual growth, biblical studies, to inspirational memoirs. And we look forward to connect, grow, and share in our fellowship!

Christian Online Book Club: Connecting with Other Women

We’ve been using since this platform offers a convenient way to connect. Meetings are scheduled using Google Meet at the end of the month either on Saturday or Sunday, depending on which day has the most votes. Sign up here!

A great advantage to this christian women’s book club is that there is a wider reach than in-person groups. We’ve connected with believers from all over the world (Canada, U.K., South Africa, U.S., just to name a few).

Word of Caution Before Joining this Women’s Book Club

I’ve seen this year after year. We sign up committed and excited to grow closer to God and read more, but with time, we lose momentum and completely forget or ignore this commitment we made at the start of the year. Friends, I encourage you to not give up. Do not let anything, especially how you feel, stop you from sticking to the commitment you’ve made in 2024. This verse comes to mind:

“Behold! My Servant whom I have chosen,
My Beloved in whom My soul is well pleased!
I will put My Spirit upon Him,
And He will declare justice to the Gentiles.
Matthew 12:18, NKJV

While this verse is talking about Jesus, it can also be applied to us. Let us be convicted to be true servants of God in all aspects. May we have a surrendered heart to seek Him and pursue wholeheartedly the commitments we’ve made in 2024.

If you need accountability, please join the book club and we can work on it as a team!

  1. I am interested in learning more about the book club obviously beginning with the March selection and time of meeting at the end of the month.

    1. Hi Carolyn! The book club info is here: — that’s the link to join and read more about it.

The book for March is the same book we selected in February: The Women of the Bible Speak by Shannon Bream. We read chapters 1-4 in February and now in March, we are reading chapters 5-9. This book also has a workbook and a coloring book!

We made the decision to split it between February and March because it’s more of a Bible study and some of the members are doing the workbook too.

We normally meet the last Saturday or Sunday of the month at 3pm EST because that’s been the best time for all time zones. There’s a poll to vote so the members can pick which is their preferred date to meet. Usually Sunday at 3pm EST works best for most.

Please reach out if you have any more questions and suggestions too!!
